Half modelsTraditionally half-models are built of carved solid wood using the bread-and-butter construction method. While this can be beautiful, I prefer to plank my half-models using the same hull-building techniques I use for my full models, plank-on-form. I feel this produces an effect closer to authentic boat-building. This half-model was built on commission. Half-models can be built to order.
